Skin Analysis Technology Explained

As we know the consultation process is as important as the treatment stage and understanding your client’s skin is key to developing an effective skin management plan that they can see is working. It’s critical that it addresses individual skin concerns and “Repairs the past, treats the present and protects the future.” This can only be achieved if the overall health of the skin, both inside and out, is completely understood. The skin is much more complex than what can be seen with the naked eye and the surface appearance of the skin only tells half the story. It’s what the eyes can’t see that we also need to be concerned about. Many of the skin conditions that negatively impact on the future health and beauty of the skin originate from the deeper, invisible layers of the skin. A Clairderm Skin Analysis system uses a high quality 1500W camera and lens to scan the skin. It uses 3 spectrums to give a detailed analysis of both the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. In addition, it diagnoses 10 different skin conditions and recommends a customised treatment plan that addresses individual skin concerns.

How is the skin prepared prior to the skin analysis?The skin is double cleansed using Clairderm Gentle Purifying Cleanser.
How long will the Skin Analysis take?The clinician will create a new file for you which takes a few seconds. 

The scan, analysis, diagnosis and effective treatment plan recommendation takes around 60 seconds. 

After the analysis the clinician will discuss an appropriate customised skin management plan that will address individual skin concerns.
Why is having Skin Analysis so important to the long-term health and wellbeing of the skin?There’s no doubt that everyone wants beautiful, healthy skin. The best way to achieve this is to implement an effective skin management plan. 

When it comes to skin management plans “one size” definitely doesn’t fit all! A customised plan, that addresses individual skin concerns, is what really works. To do this it’s important that the skin’s condition in clearly understood. The skin is much more complexed than what can be seen with the naked eye. It’s what the eyes can’t see that we also need to be concerned about. A Clairderm Skin Analysis will give a detailed analysis of both the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. 

It will diagnose 10 different skin conditions and recommend a customised treatment plan that addresses individual skin concerns. 

With a skin analysis you can track the improvement in the skin over time. This is all the evidence that is needed to show that the treatment plan is really working.
What do the results mean?After the analyser has scanned the face it will provide 10 images of the skin that give an in-depth diagnosis of 10 skin conditions. The clinician will evaluate the analysis report. Then recommend a customised treatment plan that addresses the individual skin concerns highlighted in the analysis and provides the best long-term skin health possible.
Is there any downtime associated with a Skin Analysis?There is no discomfort during or any downtime after a skin analysis.
How often can I have a Skin Analysis?This can be done as often as is required. 

We recommend that it’s done prior to all treatments as part of the skin management plan. 

This will enable you to accurately track your skin’s progress and address any underlying skin health concerns as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure that the skin remains at optimum health.

1. Refund Eligibility

We do not offer refunds for services that have been provided or completed. This includes, but is not limited to, cosmetic treatments, beauty procedures, consultations, and any other services offered by Tranquil Essence.

2. Change of Mind

If you change your mind about a booked service and wish to cancel, we require at least 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment. In such cases, we can offer you the option to reschedule your appointment for a different date and time, subject to availability.

3. Service Dissatisfaction

While we strive to deliver exceptional service, if you are dissatisfied with the results of a completed service, we encourage you to contact us within 14 days of your appointment. We will assess your concerns and, if deemed appropriate by our team of professionals, we may offer a complimentary corrective treatment or adjustment.

4. Medical Concerns

If you experience any adverse reactions or medical concerns as a result of a service provided by Tranquil Essence, please seek immediate medical attention and inform us of the situation. We will work with you to investigate the matter and determine the appropriate course of action.

5. Product Reactions

In the event of a skin reaction or adverse response to a product used during a treatment, please contact us as soon as possible. We may request that you provide information about the specific product, your medical history, and any other relevant details to assist us in addressing the situation appropriately.

6. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or other events beyond our control that result in the cancellation or disruption of scheduled services, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your appointment at a convenient time for you.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our refund policy is designed to comply with the Australian Consumer Law. This policy does not affect your rights and remedies under consumer protection laws.

Late Cancelation / No-Show PolicyTo better serve all our valued clients and maintain the efficiency of our services, we are implementing a new policy regarding appointment attendance. This policy aims to reduce no-shows and ensure that all clients have a fair opportunity to schedule appointments.

1. Late Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
Clients are required to cancel or reschedule their appointments at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Failure to do so will result in the following consequences:

a. First No-Show: For the first occurrence of a no-show, the client will be charged a $25 fee.

b. Second No-Show: If a client no-shows for the second time, they will be subject to a $50 fee.

c. Third No-Show: After the third occurrence of a no-show, the client will forfeit the treatment scheduled for that day.

2. No-Show Due to Illness: In the case of a no-show due to illness, clients are required to provide a doctor's certificate or medical proof specifying the inability to attend the appointment. This certificate must be submitted before booking a new appointment to avoid the applicable fees and treatment forfeiture.

Exceptions:
In certain unavoidable circumstances, exceptions may be made to the above policy at the discretion of our management. Please communicate with us as soon as possible if you encounter such a situation.
